Lake Shipp is one of the large lakes in Winter Haven. Many BASS fishing tournaments start at the boat launch off Lake Shipp  Dr. Stopping at Harborside for dinner can be fun, land up on the beach and the dock and grab a bite. Canal access to lake Lulu, and Lake May make this a busy lake. Surrounded by various industrial zones, parks, and neighborhoods Lake Shipp offers a variety of views. Nice Sunsets can be seen here.
